Order is one of the true needs in Life, when it is satisfied, It produces a real Happiness

- Maria Montessori

“I started my career as a teacher and educational coach. My masters degree is Teaching Methodology with a focus in Montessori education. As a teacher/coach I spent years helping families and schools create beautiful and intentional spaces for children. I love to prepare an environment for learning and joy. Now, as a designer, I get to use all of the skills I honed as a teacher/coach - connecting with people, clear communication, systems organization, time management, people management, and most importantly… helping others bring growth and joy to their lives. When I meet with clients one of the first things I ask is, “What do you and your family need RIGHT NOW?” Then we discuss how those needs might that evolve. If we are investing in our homes, whether it be a full remodel or an impactful redesign, we strive to create spaces that will stand the test of time. Our homes should feel custom to both our aesthetics and our needs. Today, we are using our dining rooms as offices and our bedrooms as classrooms. That’s wonderful - it’s your home and you should use it! My job -and what I love- is to help clients create spaces that are functional and comfortable, but also ordered and beautiful.”

Refresh, Remodel, or Start anew

People ask me all of the time why I named the company Wilson Street? In 2012 my husband and I were lucky enough to buy a piece of property in the beautiful mountain town of Leavenworth, Washington. The property sits on 2 acres and at the time had a just garage on it. We decided that instead of waiting until we could afford to build a home -and in awe of the nature surrounding the garage- that we would instead convert the garage to a small family house and enjoy more outdoor space. That was my first big residential project - on Wilson Street, in Leavenworth - and I fell in love with it. Since then I’ve been helping others create spaces that they love.
